Starrett 165 pin vises are useful for securely holding small stock, taps, drills, reamers, scribers, wire, small files, and other tools. The jaws on all are hardened and with a few turns of the binding nut, a firm grip may be obtained.

- Reversible collets with two size capacities at each end
- One chuck holds work or tools 0 - 0.031 in and 0.093 - 0.125 in dia
- The other chuck holds 0.031 - 0.062 in and 0.062 - 0.093 in dia
- Back support provided by beveled chuck ends
- The jaws on all are hardened and with a few turns of the binding nut, a firm grip may be obtained
- The knurled handle end allows for fast opening and closing, while its octagonal shape helps prevent rolling
- Full length holes allow vise to accommodate any wire length
